It also has the 5-speed manual transmission and the Mason Hydraulic Dump. This truck looks like a brand new F-350, top and bottom inside and out. Its hard to describe the trucks quality without using words like "perfect" or "the best of the best". The paint doesn't have a single mark in it, and the truck has never spent the night outside 1 time. It has never sat in the sun, and was kept in a climate controlled facility. This brings me to the next point, the underside. To me underneath a truck of this age is the most important thing, being it was kept in a climate controlled and dehumidified shop, the underside and frame is clean enough to eat off of, literally. There is not a spec of anything anywhere, and even the driveshafts are original black. The truck is cleaner than any 2023 out there due to how its been kept. Interior of course is the same quality, it has the original red floor mats with the original Ford "all weather" mats convering them. The red mats under the Ford installed mats have never been stepped on. This is a truck that you cant even grasp until you sit in it, smell it, and shift through the gears. Maintenance goes without saying. This truck was ordered by the owner of a Ford franchise store, meaning he owned a large Ford dealership. After arriving in 97, he took it over to one of his other businesses a wheel/tire shop and had the vintage welds installed, yes in 97 and they look just as flawless today. I still have the original wheels wrapped in plastic in the bed. It hauled 1 load of gravel in 1999, and that is the only thing that has ever been in the bed. This is a truck that wasn't driven a lot of miles, but it was not a truck that sat. He would periodically drive it into his dealership and have them service it and drive it home, he would also run it to town and back here and there, hence why it has 1,500 miles and not 50 miles. This truck was cared for like a family member, because cost was never really an object. When we brought it in, we looked it over just to ensure it was great and it was like we expected. Driving it is unbelievable, it shifts runs and drives like it was built last week and it something again that will speak for itself in person. We have had a lot of rare stuff with cool stories but this one takes the cake by far. Whoever gets this truck will have a conversation piece going up in value for years to come.
