1997 Ford F-350

Up for sale is a spotless condition 1997 F-350 OBS Flatbed with the 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel engine, 5-speed manual transmission, floor shift 4 wheel drive, and only 80k original miles. To me, one of the most important parts about one of these trucks is where it lived, how it was stored, and the condition of the underside and floor boards. This truck was located down South in a no salt state, which has perfectly preserved the underside and frame. The floor boards/pinch welds/rockers/door bottoms are all clean enough to eat off of. The trucks paint is the same quality, actually insanen clean. It has had front and rear mud flaps up until three days ago, which has kept the paint completely rock chip free and its remarkable how good of condition its in still. You will not find one nicer. As for the interior it is flawless, with no wear and tear on the seats or buttons. It was not just some work truck someone used, the truck was treated like it should be from 1997 to present. You would think you are jumping in a brand new F-350 when you get in it for the first time. It has all power windows and locks, and even the bench seat has lumbar adjustment which is a super neat feature for a single cab truck to have. The special order rubber floors make it easy to keep spotless and you can tell someone did just that. The truck gets constant compliments wherever you go because you just don't see them like this, and its a major conversation piece when you tell them the miles and history on it. The truck checks all the boxes. As for the maintenance, it goes without saying anyone who takes care of their truck cosmetically does the same mechanically. The oil changes have all been on time, and it is like a new truck mechanically as well and when you drive it for the first time you will be able to tell for yourself. This is one of my favorite parts about buying a truck, is just knowing for certain its been perfectly cared for. It drives straight as an arrow on or off the interstate, with no play in anything. The 5-speed is smooth and crisp going into every gear, with no hesitation or grinding at all. The clutch is very smooth as well, and does not grab quick, shudder, or cause any kinds of vibrations or noises. You can tell a lot about how these trucks were used by how the transmission shifts. This is one of those trucks that was babied in its life, and is a lot of fun to drive when everything still works like new. It plain and simple drives like a new 1997, and needs nothing. We recently just went through it front to back maintenance and up-keep wise and did everything that wasn't within perfect factory spec including brand new 10 ply tires. To say its turn-key would be an understatement, It is ready for a cross country trip without hesitation. It goes without saying these are getting harder to find, as they aren't making any new OBS anymore and the low mile ones sell within a few days.
